Tinubu returns to Nigeria after four-week holiday in Europe

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after spending four weeks in Europe on a working holiday.

DAILY POST reports that the presidential aircraft landed at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Tuesday evening.

Recall that the president departed Paris, France, for Nigeria earlier in the afternoon.

According to his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu chose to fly to Lagos first to honour the memory of Chief MKO Abiola, the martyr of Nigeria’s democratic struggle.

On Independence Day, the President will attend the premiere of a movie honouring Abiola, the winner of the June 1993 presidential election, at the Wole Soyinka National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos.
