The Nigerian Army recorded major gains in the last 24 hours, rescuing 31 kidnapped victims, arresting 17 suspects, and recovering two pump-action guns with five rounds of ammunition.
In Zamfara, troops rescued 25 kidnapped victims in Kadage Village after terrorists fled on sighting soldiers.
In Delta, 12 suspects, including a cultist and a herbalist, were arrested in Ezuokwu and Ite-Ego Communities; weapons and drugs were recovered.
In Kogi, five kidnapped victims were rescued, and two decomposed bodies were found while clearing abandoned settlements; an injured driver was also saved along Ayere–Kabba Road.
In Kaduna, Nasarawa, and Taraba, troops arrested four suspects and rescued one victim, handing them over to authorities where needed.
The Nigerian Army reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives, denying criminals freedom of action, and urged citizens to provide credible intelligence.
